This project was about knowing what the other person wants and weaving it together with my own ideas. I was working with four women, each of whom has her own approach to fashion. These women were my models.
Each model wears a bodysuit as a base. It is accompanied by a garment designed according to her wishes. It has been created through close collaboration with the model. Concrete but also abstract wishes have been discussed together. Fabrics, colour samples, texts, pictures, idols, etc. serve as material visualization. Without putting my own wishes and intentions aside, I took those of my counterparts as a base to fulfill their dream.
This way, accents were created in the form of garments or accessories: each model presents only a single piece over the bodysuit.
My intention is to create pieces that co-construct the wearer's self.
The women should accept it and own it – or even wear it.
